Description
The ultra-rare Aristocrat Golf was manufactured by the Mills Sales Corporation in 1931. The machine offers wonderful aesthetics, being made of walnut with nickel castings and a light-up feature, with graphics of a golfer teeing off in front of an art deco background that is signed by the original artist. The machine also came in playing card and dominoes themes and was designed for gambling. An ad for the machine that appeared in the May 1931 issue of Atomic Age on page 119, touted that regular payouts could be changed by adjusting the play board pegs. CONDITION: All original, with light signs of wear from play and age. It has great color and background graphics, all the instruction labels and fully operational. PROVENANCE: From the lifelong collection of Bill Howard. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
