Item Details

Description

This amazing cigar store figure is made of paper mache, and is in a full standing form of the figure "Punch," which stands 73" tall. "Punch" was a character who originated in England with the turn-of-the-century, and whose form was synonymous with early advertising primarily at cigar stores. CONDITION: This figure shows great original condition with great original paint, most likely having had some repairs done early in its life. The stand, which is clearly marked for "Punch" shows some levels of restoration. However, this figure at a full 6' tall has an amazing presence and would look great in anybody's saloon or tobacco collection. PROVENANCE: From the lifelong collection of Bill Howard. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Very Good) Dimensions: 73" x 16" x 16"
