Description
A classic coin-op vending machine manufactured by Manikin Vendor Co. of Portland, Oregon. The figure, a baker, is one of four various figures used within this machine. When the penny is deposited and the lever on the right side is flipped, the gentleman baker retrieves a gumball by opening the oven door and then depositing it into a chute for the patron to receive. These machines had a simple yet complicated mechanism and this one is working perfectly. CONDITION: The machine is in all original paint, showing moderate scratches to the front, and an earlier repaint of the baker figure. With keys. Reference: "Silent Salesman Too" by Bill Enes, p. 89. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Very Good) Dimensions: 7" X 10" X 16"
