According to a Pulver ad, The Pulver Yellow Kid machine was the first penny chewing gum vending machine made in the USA. This example is considered to be one of the later versions of the wooden Pulver, circa 1899, with the extended product chute. The only automation that is correct for these single-column machines is the Yellow Kid, who was the first comic strip character. CONDITION: This example is in nice original condition with the exception of a small repair to the lower-front panel and the front label. Original clothes on the Yellow Kid, and working and vending fine. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
