C. 1903, the 20th Century Novelty Co. An original, early trade machine with the maker decal tag on the front of the cabinet. The premise was quite simple and amusing: Dropping a nickel in the slot and advancing the plunger, the spiral would spin and the coin would roll down and into the cash box. The indicator at the bottom would then point to a number, indicating the number of cigars awarded.
