Original vintage Soviet propaganda poster featuring a poem by I. Gorina below a dynamic image of three young workers striding forward with tools and a KPSS Communist Party programme holding Komsomol travel tickets in front of industrial factories and construction building cranes, agriculture and farming fields, a train on a railway and a dam in red and blue on the side. Komsomol travel tickets / Komsomol Direction was a document issued to Komsomol members assigning them to temporary construction projects or military service often in new, remote locations. The All-Union Leninist Young Communist League (Komsomol; 1918-1991) was a youth organisation under the Communist Party of the USSR for teenagers and young adults aged 14-28 after they graduated from the Young Pioneers and Little Octobrists (for younger children aged 7-9 years old). Published by the USSR Union of Artists and the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists. Very good condition, creasing, minor staining. Country of issue: USSR, designer: O. Savostyuk, B. Uspenskii, size (cm): 65x45, year of printing: 1963.
