Description
PaJaMa Group (Paul Cadmus (1904-1999), Jared French (1905-1987), and Margaret Hoening French (1889-1973)). Gelatin silver print photograph depicting two figures, Margaret and Jared French, next to a checkerboard wall with the ocean in the background. Photographed by Paul Cadmus. Depicting a scene in Nantucket, possibly a structure called Target House, 1946. Pencil inscription along the verso with subjects and date. Ink stamp along the verso.

Condition
The emulsion is smooth with no breaks. There are a few creases throughout, visible at a critical angle. Light wear along the edges. Along the verso there are a few spots of foxing. There are four spots in either corner with residual adhesive and paper. The work is mounted in a mat with four plastic corner tabs. Housed between two non-acidic mats. Not framed.
