TIMBY "SOLAR TIMEPIECE" OR GLOBE CLOCK
Saratoga Springs, New York, 19th Century
Invented by Theodore Timby and manufactured by Dr. Lewis Whiting, 1865. Walnut case inset with a six-inch globe dated 1860. When the clock is in operation, the globe rotates one full turn every 24 hours.
Height 27". Width 13.75". Depth 7".

Finial broken and repaired. Staining overall.
