Being a Biographical History of Art in France, from the Earliest Period to and Including the Salon of 1882. 2 VOLS. Philadelphia: Gebbie & Co., 1883. 2 folios. Half black morocco over brown cloth boards. Uppers lettered in gilt. Spine with 5 raised bands, gilt lettering in compartments 2 and 4, gilt motifs in remaining. Beveled edges. All edges gilt. Titles in red and black. Profusely illustrated. Generally very good condition, various imperfections: extremities rubbed, light toning, interior generally clean and crisp. **WARNING** This item is Overweight/Oversize and requires shipping consideration.
