Description
Beautiful antique violin from Eduard Reichert, Dresden Germany. It is a No. 217, Style I, Tone Violin. Back and neck appear to be tiger maple, top appears spruce, finger board and tail piece appear ebony. Appears all original including chin rest and tuning pegs. Included is the bow and comes in a leather case with purple velvet lining. Bow is a lighter weight wood, frog is inlaid with mother of pearl with no visible marks. Violin measures approx. 23" long.
Condition
Overall condition good for age and use. Scratches throughout the front body, needs restrung. Bow needs replacement hair.
