"RF" (Republic Francaise) French Army Helmet. Developed in the 1970s, this was the final steel helmet used by the French army and saw use throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Both the Army and Gendarmerie Mobile, a division of the Gendarmerie used to secure public order under any circumstances, used the French Model 1978 F1. This version has a glossy blue finish and features a gold "RF" (Republic Francaise) flaming grenade badge on the front. Lightly used, but can have dents and scratches from service.
