Six assorted marionettes. One girl and boy on wood benches, girl missing leg. 8.5"l x 4.5"w. One man with wooden crutch, 10.5"l x 4.5"w. One dead man with tombstone, mouth moves, 11.5"l x 6"w. One green lady with chains and damaged leg, 15"l x 4.5"w. One man with black suit, 15"l x 5"w. See photos. From the Morrisville, NY Estate. These are one owner, handmade, one-of-a-kind folk art marionettes owned by Mildred F. Kelley of Binghamton, NY. She started many of these in 1939 through a course taught by Reverend Zdenek Frank Pauk. Since 1939, her family of wooden children has included: Madam Butterfly, Santa Claus, Hansel and Gretel, Scrooge, George Washington, Shakespeare and many, many more. Mrs. Kelly made all her marionettes from scratch. The heads are made mainly with carved wood and paper mache. Don't miss out on this exciting and unique collection!
