Struck under Magistrate Philotas / 272-240 B.C. / Silver Nomos / D = 19 mm / 6,35 g.
Obv. Nude youth on horseback to l., crowning horse ΔI on field upper r., ΦIΛΩTAΣ in two lines below horse.
Rev. Taras, holding kantharos and distaff, riding dolphin to left; to right, cock standing to left, below dolphin ΤΑΡΑΣ. SNG American Numismatic Society 1173/6.
CONDITION:
Very fine, slightly off center on rev. A pleasant coin.
