Item Details

Description

A New England Glass Company 1868 patent brass top bell bottom frame. The 1854 model has a smaller exposed glass fount with a small tin retaining ring. Not marked but guaranteed to be NEG. This model is a "flat top" as opposed to a dome top. It has eh unique lid latch and base assembly. There is some filler material under the bell. Could be some rot in there. The globe is a 6" standard barrel with B&A RR cast in fancy lettering in a rectangular panel. It also has a nasty crack on the back side.
