AFTER ALFRED CHARLES HAVELL (1855-1928) "A FOX-HUNTER'S DREAM" LITHOGRAPH, hand-colored lithograph, depicts many anthropomorphic scenes of foxes and hunting dogs, surrounding a hunter, fast-asleep in an armchair at the center bottom of the composition. Housed in a birds-eye maple frame. After Alfred Charles Havell. British. Late 19th century. 24 3/4" x 19 1/4" sight, 33 1/4" x 27 1/4" OA.
Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum, Richmond, VA to benefit collections care, preservation, and future acquisitions.
Condition
Very good condition overall with some minor darkening and toning; frame with several spots of minor wear.
