VICTORIAN AESTHETIC MOVEMENT BRONZE TORTOISE DESK SET, LOT OF THREE, with gilded and silver-plated elements, bases each with two tortoises surrounded by geometric aesthetic movement stylized borders, inkwell with tortoise to cover, and dragon-form handles. Very lightly marked on base with what appears to be "K F". Continental, likely French. Fourth quarter 19th century. Candlesticks 6 3/4" HOA, 3 7/8" DOA.

From an Illinois estate.

Condition

Good condition overall with minor wear to patinated surfaces; inkwell likely lacking original glass insert.
