Tall, thick, small folio, 579 pages, (pagination confusing with most pages clearly dated 1834 but some pages dated 1854 apparently because of penmanship), full calf binding worn, tooled cover design, black spine label with gilt lettering. Covers quite worn, spine detached but spine label good, marbled end papers, text age browned but clean with some evidence of some old water staining at inside upper hinge. Ink script throughout, quite strong. Numerous names throughout such as Brigadier General Erastus Cleveland (1771-1857) (commanded the U.S. forces at Sackett's Harbor and Owego, New York, war of 1812, was one of the most prominent citizens of Central New York in business matters, politics, and military affairs.), S. (Samuel) G. Cleveland, Seth Howard, Adolphus Blair, Orlando Stephens, Jacob Manchester, Manchester S. Storm, Deacon William (L.)
