William spratling was an american-born silver designer and artist, best known for his influence on 20th century mexican silver design. He was trained as an architect and was a talented visual artist; by the 1930's he founded the first of the silver shops that would spur a mexican silver renaissance. His inspired designs blend a unique modern aesthetic with pre-columbian designs, creating works of art. These handcrafted utensils show off the exceptional skill of the legendary spratling silversmiths and the unique design vision of william spratling.
