16" Schoenhut Model No. 106 "Bonnet Head" doll. Painted yellow and red flower pattern with gilt trim on bonnet. Lime green tiny leaflets. Oval decal on back of torso. Blue intaglio eyes. No original clothing, she is dressed in all antique clothing. Schoenhut/ type blue cotton dress, reproduction long slip, pantaloons. Blue cotton socks, black oilcloth shoes. Reproduction Schoenhut pin. Condition: when doll was picked up from consignor, the bonnet was covered with shiny red lacquer. It was carefully removed to reveal the floral bonnet. Some of it has bled into the wood, but not a lot. Crazing, loss of paint on face. No other repaint visible. This lot is being sold AS IS. She is still a wonderful doll!
