Description
This model was built at Camp Livingston, Louisiana. It was constructed by Unteroffizier Erwin Lederer of Kreis Backnang, Wurttemberg while he was held prisoner of war in World War II. The model was named "Villa Lotte" after the artists' fiancee. Each piece of the model is numbered. The base measures 24 1/2" x 33" and the house measures 16 1/2" tall. The model is wired for electricity, powered by four period dry cell batteries (functioning batteries not included). The house comes with the original box designed by the artist for potential shipping. Five pages of instructions (in German) are included for assembly. The model displays minor wear, but is overall in good condition. In-house shipping is available. Please see our website regarding in-house shipping procedures.
