H. - Cumberland, Westmoreland, and Lancashire, Illustrated, in a series of forty-four engravings, Exhibiting the Scenery of the Lakes, Antiquities, and other Picturesque Objects. London: Printed for Thomas M'Lean, 1822. Complete with the hand col. Aquatint plates. Book measures: 41cm x 28cm approx. Contemporary half leather, papered boards, leather gilt title label to upper cover. Sometime re-backed with original back-strip laid-on. (1)

Notes:

Binding square and tight (structurally sound) due to previous professional repair/restoration.

A couple of plates with marginal patches of foxing, the majority are clean and bright.

One tissue-guard is torn (see image)
