Description
An antique late 19th to early 20th century Austrian cold painted cast bronze figurine with a clock by Franz Bergman. The piece represents an Arab man dressed in white riding a camel. On the camels side is a round clock with Roman numerals on a bright blue background. The watch is marked inside Gardien Paris Cheron and numbered 2589. Franz Xavier Bergman, 1861 to 1936, was the owner of a Viennese foundry that produced patinated and cold painted bronzes which were extremely popular in Austria at the time. Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Untested. Glass is cracked. Some paint has chipped off. Refer to photos. Sold As Is.
