Description
The cylindrical body gently tapering towards the foot and rising to a rounded shoulder surmounted by a short compressed bulbous section below a waisted neck with flared mouth. The exterior finely painted in bright enamels with four shaped panels, one in the form of a furled leaf enclosing a lotus pond with a fish, shrimp, and crab, below a lobed reserve with a pavilion rising from a river with a fishing boat.
Provenance: French trade.
Condition: Very good condition with minor wear, a minuscule chip to the upper rim, and minor wear to the enamels.

The other side with a square cartouche depicting a qilin above a pomegranate-form panel with antique treasures. The neck is decorated with floral sprays, butterflies, and a grasshopper.
The countersunk base with an apocryphal underglaze-blue six-character mark da Qing Kangxi nianzhi.
