A pair of antique Chinese porcelain vases of a pear shape, decorated with iron red patterns, one vase depicts five-claw dragons among clouds and the other depicts phoenix birds. Each vase is flanked by elephant-head handles reflecting the influence of Buddhism. Marked on the bottom with a six-character Qianlong Mark in underglaze blue. Circa 1900.
