Continental,18th/19th century. Five (5) pieces, including: An Anglo-Norman Nobleman, of the Eleventh Century in his State Habit, line engraving, a folio print from 1796 in sepia ink, plate XXXIII. Matted under glass, framed archivally in new copper gilt frame. A Coronation Habit, of the 13th Century, line engraving, a folio print, from 1796 in sepia ink, plate LVIII. Matted under glass, framed archivally in new copper gilt frame. Warrior from Amhara, by Prisse d'Avennes, lithograph by Adolphe Rouargue, printed by Lemercier, mid-19th century, matted under glass and framed. Abyssinian Warriors, engraved by Eugene Le Roux, published by Lemercier,1848, drawn by Prisse d'Avennes, matted under glass and framed. Portrait of Adrianus Stalbent, Continental, 18th century, original engraving by Paulus Pontius after the painting by Anthony van Dyck. Adrianus Stalbent was a Flemish landscape painter and friend of van Dyck. Penciled notations on lower right matting, M.H. 66 penciled to lower left matting. Matted under glass with gold gilt frame.
