Alonzo Jimenez (American 1949 – 2005), untitled-giraffe, 1991, cottonwood, large polychrome painted Southwestern folk art sculpture modeled as a standing giraffe with natural fiber mane and tail, signed and dated to the underside of the stomach. Provenance: From a Private Collection, Atlanta, GA; acquired from Davis Mather Folk Art Gallery, Santa Fe, NM. Some dryness cracks, sculpture is structurally sound. h. 115", w. 25", d. 9.5".
