Engraved with a coat of arms and a heraldic crest.
height 5in (12.5cm); width 11 1/4in (29cm); depth 8 1/2in (22cm); total weight approximately 116oz troy

Footnote:
The armorial bearings as engraved are those of the family of Fortescue impaling Nevile.
These armorial bearings undoubtedly commemorate the marriage of the Honourable and Reverend John Fortescue (1796-1869), of Poltimore, Devon and Sophia Nevile (circa 1807-1868).

Fully marked to sides of dishes and sides of lids. Part marked to top handles. Numbered 1 and 2 respectively. General marks, scratches, rubbing and wear. Engraved as stated.
