The bronze sculpture in its abstract composition shows three elephants ascending in size from largest to smallest with upturn trunks. They each wear a saddle that boastS exquisite details with an Art Deco flair. For years the elephant has been known as a sacred animal in the East. As the largest animal to walk the Earth, the elephant is known as a symbol of strength and power. It also represents perseverance, in that it is an extremely hard-working animal. Elephants are also seen as symbols of wisdom and dignity, because of their incredible intelligence and very long life span. It is believed that an elephant's trunk is raised up as a symbol of good luck, fortune, and optimism. The elephants were cast using the ancient methods of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation and mounted upon a marble base. Dimensions: Height 12 X Width 12 inches.
