Description

18th & early 19th C. English creamware basket weave dishes, probably Leeds, all with openwork rims, to include one small over platter, approx. 8 1/2" x 10", three square deep dishes with rounded corners and inward-curving sides, approx. 8" x 9 1/4" x 1 1/2", and nine small round plates, approx 7 3/4" diameter, (three with old repairs, most with tiny glaze nibbles.) Provenance: the estate of John Long, highly regarded Virginia antiques dealer and collector.
