Native American, Eastern United States, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, Archaic to Woodlands Period, ca. 5000 to 1000 BCE. A collection of stone tools and/or adornments that include a discoidal bead, 2 pendants with etched linear motifs, and a plummet shaped effigy that has a grooved neck and a faint face etched into the top. The largest is a hemispherical stone, split in half, with a drilled hole through the center- possibly a tool. The flat, rectangular piece is a pre-form / unfinished gorget with the beginning of drilled holes in the center. Size: 2.5" L x 1.75" W (6.4 cm x 4.4 cm)
