Original oil on wood attributed to Nick Lancet 17x13 cm Nicolas Lancret Paris 1690-1743 was a French painter, born and deceased in the city of Paris. A student from Dulin, Claude Gillot and later Antoine Watteau was added to the French Academy in February 1719 and entered it in March of the same year. He began as a painter of historical subjects, but devoted himself to subjects related to gallant parties and dinners of everyday life.
