Two Continental Canes with Gold-Filled and Silver Mounts
first quarter 20th century, the first a walking stick, having gold-filled handle with chased scrolled motifs and faceted knop, monogrammed GAB and stamped "+ 36D" to ferrule, surmounting an ebonized wood shaft; the second a George V silver tipped bamboo cane, mark of J Howell & Co Ltd., Birmingham (1919).
