Two Antique French Dressing Boxes
late 19th century, including a Louis XVI style relief carved footed wood box with rocailles gilt brass mounts, acanthus leaf and sheaf of wheat decoration, stamped "Moreau" to mount (3 x 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 in.); and a porcelain box with hand-painted gilt highlights on a red-orange ground, brass mounts, with an above glaze blue mark and "Made in France" to underside (2 x 4 1/4 x 3 in.).
