Handwritten letter on the British Embassy, Washington D.C. letterhead to Jimmy Wiggins. The letter is regarding an autograph photo request. Written and signed in black fountain pen ink by Lord Inverchapel. In great condition. (1882-1951) Archibald Clark Kerr, 1st Baron Inverchapel was known as Sir Archibald Clark Kerr between 1935 and 1946. He was a British diplomat. He served as Ambassador to the Soviet Union between 1942 and 1946 and to the United States between 1946 and 1948.This lot came from the Jim Wiggins collection we purchased in July 2022. Jim Wiggins accumulated the most unique and valuable autograph collection over a period of 70-plus years. He obtained his collection either in person or by writing to persons of fame and notoriety.Comes with a full Letter of Authenticity from Todd Mueller Authentics.
