RUSSIAN SILVER JADE ELEPHANT EGG PENDANT
For your viewing, a Russian gilt silver and hand-carved jade Easter egg pendant is presented. The egg is crafted from hand-carved jade stone and adorned with a gilt silver figural top in the shape of an elephant's head, set with ruby cabochons as eyes, and engraved with intricate patterns.
HALLMARKS: Hallmarked on the fitting ring with an '84' Imperial Russian silver standard and 'I.P.' for the workmaster.
CONDITION: The item is in overall good vintage condition. Signs of Wear and Age. For further information, please refer to the pictures.
PROVENANCE: 1. From a private Russian collector, 2001-2023; 2. Antique Arena Inc, Brooklyn, New York, USA, October 07, 2023 (the winner will receive this information); 3. Today, prices have significantly increased compared to those of 5-10 years ago.
WARRANTY: The buyer has 5 days to inspect items for originality, valued at up to $5,000, and 10 days for items valued at $5,000 or more. Items can be returned to the seller for a refund; please refer to the Terms for more details.

HISTORY: A FABERGE egg is a jewelled egg created by the House of FABERGE, in St. Petersburg, Imperial Russia. Virtually all were manufactured under the supervision of Peter Karl Faberge between 1885 and 1917, the most famous being the 50 'Imperial' eggs, 43 of which survive, made for the Russian Tsars Alexander III and Nicholas II as Easter gifts for their wives and mothers.
