High foot bowl, also known as Ba Wan, date back to Yuan Dynasty. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which against red color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years XuanDe Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
