Chinese Qing Dynasty QianLong Famille Rose Landscape Porcelain Bottle Vase. Potted in a large shaped vase, thick and tall, heavy on rounded shoulder concealing gracefully to a prominent long cylindrical neck, emerging two majestic handles flanked from upper neck to shoulder, flaring mouth rim, raised with short splayed foot base rim and slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in yellow base colour which contrast against famille rose design colour, depicted of sampan boat sailing over peace lishui river surround with tree, flowers bloom, rocky rock and mountain, all in salubrious landscape. Mountain is one of the eight trigrams in Feng Shui and Yi Jing. Of these Taishan is considered the most important and stones from the mountain were often placed in towns across China as a lucky charm.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
