Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Famille Rose Porcelain Vase. The porcelain potted in vase shape, thick and tall, globular lower body, flaring round mouth rim, emerging ruyi shaped flanked on the neck, raised on a short ring foot base with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white and famille rose color, depicted lotus flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. Lotus is one of the most significant flowers in the Chinese culture. It symbolizes the holy seat of Buddha. Because the flower rises from the mud and blooms in exquisite beauty it symbolizes perfection and purity of both the heart and mind.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue rectangle lines. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
