Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Douqing glazed ribbed garlic vase. Potted in garlic bottle vase, bulbous lower belly, thick, with rounded shoulder, short cylindrical neck, with shrink on the neck middle to enlarge onion head shape, emerge ribbed from upper mouth to foot base rim, with slight short mouth rim, raised on short small round, with slight concaved foot base. All reserved in pale green celadon under glazed ground, the green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human pale white skin. The deep green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, amazing crackling effect throughout the under glaze which produces fantastic a smooth textured surface.

Mark on base, a six under glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, Made in The Years of Yongzheng Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
