Potted in shape vase, thick and tall, globular lower body, cylindrical neck, flaring mouth rim, raised on a ring foot base with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in blue and white design color, depicted of lotus flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. Lotus is one of the most significant flowers in the Chinese culture. It symbolizes the holy seat of Buddha. Because the flower rises from the mud and blooms in exquisite beauty it symbolizes perfection and purity of both the heart and mind.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years GuangXu Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
