1 Small 18th C. SIGNED hand painted signed white porcelain button.
Here we have a beautiful hand painted pansy flower button on a white ground glazed porcelain with a gold painted border. These signed examples from the Meissen company from the 18th century are not plentiful. It has a four hole back typical to the 18th century porcelain buttons and is signed with the crossed swords in blue for Meissen. At times only one in a set was signed while all the others were unsigned. Here is a nice opportunity to own a signed example. From the collection of Nikki Deal of Missouri, now of Seattle Washington as she has successfully moved.
Issued: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918
Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above
