1 Large medium early 20th century Marcasite trimmed button.
From the collection of the late Shirley Case of Missouri. Here is a beautifully detailed flowing haired women in the Art Nouveau style made of silvered brass and pierced on the border and set with marcasite's. A beautiful button. FYI-Marcasite's can be distinguished from cut steels simply by one characteristic, Marcasite's have 6 facets and only 6 and cut steels have more of less but never 6.

Issued: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918
