Description
An antique European gold painted white porcelain urn. Probably made in France in the mid- to late 19th Century. Mythical winged harpie figures as handles. Good antique condition with some wear and faded gold paint. No major damage or cracks. Used to be a lamp (drill holes in base and bottom). Measures approx. 14" high x 5" in diameter. Very decorative piece! Provenance: From the collection of the late MASSIMO COMOLI, celebrated opera set designer and architect, best known for working with the late Gianni Versace on the redesign of the iconic Villa Casa Casuarina in Miami Beach (formerly known as the Versace Mansion).
