This stunning eye-catcher was made by famous Italian designer Corletto around the 1950s and features a hand painted portrait of a young woman wearing a real diamond hair band and ruby pendant necklace. The painting is set in an ornate 18K gold and blue enamel frame with a bale and a pin on the back. The piece can thus be worn as either a brooch or a pendant. Very good vintage condition, no damage or missing pieces. Measures approx. 1 5/8" tall x 1 1/4" wide and weighs ca. 14.5 grams. Signed and stamped for 18K gold on the back.
