Description

Circa 1900 Painted Pressed Steel Summer Trolley Clockwork Toy by the Morton E. Converse Co. (Winchendon, MA), originally with keywind mechanism operated by turning the roof pole, with four (front and back, and two sides) rotating destination plaques that read "City Hall Park" and "Union Depot", reversing seat backs, original paint. Paint losses and corrosion according to age, some missing parts, original clockwork mechanism is still there. Measures approx. 16" long x 7 1/2" high x 5" wide. Very decorative piece.
