This well-preserved May 1941 letter signed by Ernst Himmler. The top left is marked Dipl. Ing. which signifies an engineering degree. It is followed by Ernst Himmler. Ernst Himmler was an electrical engineer and younger brother to Heinrich Himmler. Ernst was also in the SS.The rear ink signature also reads Ernst Himmler in blue ink. Dipl. Ing. Ernst Himmler is most definitely Heinrich's younger brother. We previously had this letter as being signed by Heinrich Himmler. It is not. Provenance: Our consignor found these letters in the attic of their home on Wilhelmstrasse 14, in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Lore Drache lived in the top floor of their home; Lore Drache was the Director of a spa in Sobernheim, Germany. (1hr north of Kaiserslautern). This letter indicates Lore corresponded with him making recommendations about a specific diet they were on; also talked about the weather.
