Lot consists of: (A) Circa 1860-1870 sepia toned albumen image of California gold miners working a narrow sluice run. This is a period copy taken off of the original 1850s daguerreotype. (B) Silver gelatin cabinet image of a badged Morse patrolman for the well-known western detective agency responsible for the apprehension of many famous bandits, including Black Bart. Image was taken on Mission Street, in San Francisco. (C) Large circa 1880s cabinet image of an overland stagecoach for the Yreka, Fort Jones, and Etna route in California. (D) Large salt print image taken from an 1850s daguerreotype of a paddle wheeled steamboat named the SAGAMORE at anchor in Gold Rush era Stockton, California. (E) Photograph of Step Maderaa, 1st City Marshall of Boulder, Colorado. CONDITION: Some rubbed corners, but images are all very good.
