Volodymyr Oleshchuk's vivid abstractions are a self-reflection through which he studies the environment, the so-called Macrocosm. Perceiving the environment, the author transforms the surroundings into his own individual world.
The series "Colors of the Wind" is a mood painting, an attempt to convey the emotional state caused by the elements, based on natural textures and color
and color relationships. One of the ways to experience or coexist with various phenomena - natural and social - is to accept reality as a fact. For me, acceptance begins with the search for a certain "aesthetics". Storm, storm, fire, blizzard, avalanches, diving into the depths of the sea, or flying... acceptance of these sometimes very dangerous phenomena comes through understanding their inevitability. Then comes the understanding of structure and aesthetics. One can see a certain scenario of this phenomenon. And this, in turn, provokes a certain action, reaction or lack thereof.
The impressions left by reality are poured onto the canvas in a peculiar manner and mood. Color remains the most important tool for Volodymyr. The purpose of this artistic act is not to surprise with excessive originality, but to reflect the artist's state of mind with his inner world. It's more like a game that doesn't have a conclusion, like a journey that has no end.
