Walt Disney Signed Issue of "Duck Album" Comic ft. Donald Duck & Family Phil Sears and JSA COA

An issue of "Walt Disney's Duck Album" comic signed by Walt Disney. 34pp, measuring 7.25" x 10". New York: Dell Publishing Co., Inc., 1954. Entitled "Walt Disney's Duck Album featuring 5 Complete Duck Stories", No. 611. Signed "Walt Disney" on the first internal page. The comic provides five comics relating to Donald, Daisy, Huey, Dewey, and Louie Duck, Scrooge McDuck, Gus Goose, and Elvira "Grandma Duck" Coot. The spine has been professionally repaired at the back. Covers have wear, soiling, creasing, and scratching. Toned internal pages with some minor soiling, but otherwise very bright colors. Boldly signed.
The comic comes with a COA certificate from Phil Sears Collectibles and an LOA from JSA.
Donald Duck first appeared in "The Wise Little Hen" in 1934 and has since appeared in over 150 films. The Donald Duck comic strip came about four years later, debuting on February 7, 1938. The strip ran for more than 50 years, finally coming to an end in 1995. The first members of the Duck family, Donald's identical triplet nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, debuted on October 17, 1937, and the rest followed.
This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.
