Guangxu Period (1875-1908), circa 1900
A seamed front panel and a single back panel each depicting a paradise flycatcher of a ninth-rank civil official within a circular frame, worked in multicolored silk embroidery with couched metallic thread accents on a brown silk ground, each with a central applique bird amid the "Three Plenties" fruits of peach, Buddha's hand, and pomegranate, and with bat symbols to each corner and to the borders, 2 pieces

Condition
Each in overall good condition with light dust accumulation commensurate with age and use. Each with blue silk lining verso. Each slightly out of square. Each with scattered loose threads. Back panel with scattered losses to couched metal threads. Each blue lining with scattered spots and small stains overall.
